BROKEN VOWS

Broken Vows tells the story of Patrick Flynn (Wes Bentley), whose charm and charisma masks a profound psychosis. Patrick seduces Tara Bloom (Jaimie Alexander) instantly becoming infatuated with her beauty. Tara regretting her actions rejects Patrick sending him spiraling into madness and delusion.

Bentley first became well-known for his role in the Oscar-winning film American Beauty. Bentley is also known for his role of Seneca Crane in The Hunger Games and will next appear in Interstellar directed by Christopher Nolan alongside of Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway. In addition, he will be seen in the Terrence Malick film Knight of Cups with Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett and Antonio Banderas in addition to Welcome to Me alongside James Marsden, Will Ferrell and Tim Robbins. Alexander will next appear in London Fields alongside Johnny Depp, Amber Heard and Billy Bob Thornton. In 2013, Jamie reprised her lead role as ‘Lady Sif’ in Marvel/Disney’s Thor 2: The Dark World, with the third installment currently being penned. Also in 2013, she starred alongside Arnold Schwarzegger and Johnny Knoxville in Lionsgate’s actioner The Last Stand.

Broken Vows has rounded out its cast with Cam Gigandet (Twilight, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 and Easy A), Alexandra Breckenridge (American Horror Story, Save Me, True Blood, The Ex-List and Dirt), Alex Ladove (Life of Crime and Lee Daniel’s The Butler) and Astrid Bryan (Astrid in Wonderland). The script was written by James Agnew and Sean Keller.

“Agnew and Keller did an amazing job creating a new, thrilling spin to the psychological stalker film,” said producer Wendy Benge. “I love the way they can take a common, traditional genre and turn it into something completely unique. Alexander’s strong personality and Bentley’s intensity will make for a dynamic suspenseful thriller.”
